Key points to look for when assessing visual function:

the size, colour, texture, how far away are objects first recognised? familiarity with objects using visual cues identification of stationary and moving objects size of objects identified. How big do they have to be? bumping into objects. Contrast and position looking directly, off to the side, above and below an object lighting. Cloudy day, bright day, fluorescent lighting
